Should I charge my EV to 100% every night?

Short answer
Most manufacturers recommend a daily limit around 80–90% and 100% only before long trips.
Lithium-ion batteries experience less stress when not held at a very high state of charge for long periods. Many EVs let you set a daily charge limit in the car's settings.
Some battery chemistries (such as LFP) are an exception, and their makers may recommend regular full charges. Follow your owner's manual.
